Janepie33 Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 OH had to dispatch Little Tiny Bridget today. We rescued her with 3 other girls in March and for the last few weeks she has been laying very very soft shelled eggs or eggs with no shells at all. Today she laid her usual softie which was streaked with blood and when I looked at her, she had a nasty mass hanging from her bottom which was bleeding quite a bit. I thought this looked like more than a usual prolapse and OH and I decided that the best thing to do was to dispatch her straight away. Sadly I don't think we could have done anything to save her.
