When I went last week to pick up my 4 girls from Gill at Mumbles Farm, she had been looking after them for me whilst I had been on holiday, she happened to mention that on Tuesday she was getting some cream legbars in. So what could I do but go yesterday and get two. Wanted to call them Sally and Mavis ...... But chicken mad 4 year old grandson came with me and now we have colossus and night crawler May call them by my preferred choice when he isn't around. So far all really good, and they are playing nicely together, dreaded introductions again and had water pistol at the ready but absolutely no shouting or fighting at all. I really am amazed, they are 22 weeks so a little older and apart from Iris who is top hen, and totally ignoring them, they are twice the size of the others so all is calm at Peckingham palace at the moment. Just now waiting for the lovely blue eggs to arrive. Sorry no photos at the moment as I am rubbish at technology.
