rosecork
Poor Jessie is getting balder every day, her feathers just can't get a chance to grow back . I have decided it might be best to separate her until she is re-feathered, but not sure how to go about this. Should I put her (hopefully borrowed soon) house and run inside the big run with the others, or outside where she can see them, or completely away? And if I do end up separating, how do I go about reintroducing her to the others later? Thanks
The Dogmother
Is it just one bullying her, or all of them? Look at possible causes for bullying such as to few feeders, overcrowding etc It is advisable to take out the bully if possible, or to fit one or all of them with bumpa bits. I would avoid taking the victim out as it will make it impossible to re-introduce her. Personally, I would fit bits; there are plenty of videos online to show you how, and if you live in North Oxon, south Warks or south Northants, then I'd be happy to do it for you.
