BridieLou
Hiya. Our chooks currently have free range of the garden, but we'd like to restrict their access a bit, to reduce the poo on the patio..! I really like the look of the Omlet fencing, but at £100 (plus P&P) for 20 metres it's pretty pricey. Does anyone know of any alternatives? thanks
grahamrhind
I put something up using chicken wire - see http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=100878
chooksRCute
I got mine second hand off eBay but that aside the idea is to contain the chickens not be predator proof...so why not just use chicken wire or a plastic alternative & bamboo canes? Cat tails
I use bird wire. Which is 50 cm high. High enough to keep the chooks in, low enough to step over. It looks a bit like chicken wire, but with squares of about 2 by 2 cm. I can cut it with scissors and I keep it up with bamboo poles.
