AndyRoo
Okay, so I went out to see the girls this morning and noted that two of them were pretty damp all over. I think it must be because there were a few small puddles in the run. They didn't seem bothered, and they had dried out by midday, but we have more rain predicted. Will the girls be okay? They have plenty of perches, and they have their tree stumps too, so it's not like they have to sit in puddles all day. The tarps are obviously fending off the worst of the rain, I'm just not sure what else to do other than buy them a couple of heat lamps so they can dry themselves off in style if they want. Hippie Chick
I think they'll be fine. Mine very often look like drowned rats after an afternoon free-ranging in our changeable weather! They should be OK as well overnight if they go to bed damp as long as there's good ventilation in their coop.

I leave the Eglu door open, and I have my tarps near the door so they don't get any water inside, so it should be nice and 'airy' for them! If any of the bedding is damp in the morning, I can change it easily enough.
mullethunter
They'll be fine. My mums get wet through from time to time and don't seem to suffer.
