Egluntyne
Am watching the second episode and still have no idea what it is about. Anyone care to enlighten me?
Janepie33
Was hoping someone would tell me too! I think James Delaney is a good man trying to make amends for some drowned slaves on a slave ship owned by the East India Company. He wants to save the land left in his father's will for the "savages" with whom he lived when he was missing, presumed drowned at sea. Maybe ????? Groovychook
Don't know but don't care! Enjoying it very much and looking forward to the story lines developing. Tom Hardy on Saturday night TV is a big plus for me too I'm a big fan of Peaky Blinders and love the character he plays in that... known in our house as 'The Bad Baker'! Couldn't wait for this to start when I heard that the same writer was involved.
Grandmashazzie
Yes am loving it except for the use of the f word. I live in a bungalow and am very conscious that the boys have just gone to bed and are prob hearing sound from TV. BTW I am no prude and have let a certain word escape at times, I find the bad language unnecessary.

Grandmashazzie
Agree Egluntyne, I was very confused last night and didn't enjoy it as much as previous episodes. Thought it a bit stuck in storyline, more mad King, more same old East India Co without moving story.
