Poorly chicken

Hello, We have three of the original Eglu Cube Mk 1's and we are having to clean out the nesting box area practically every day as out chickens are sleeping in there at night and pooping LOTS. Has anyone found a way of dealing with this? I see the MK 2 cubes have a closable next box, can't justify selling ours and buying new, but it is driving us mad, also getting a few broken eggs because of this.

My Go up doesn't have a seperate nestbox either. I place a big pot upside down in the nestingbox each night. Others here use footballs and other stuff to just block it off.

I have these and use the smallest size tub trug to pop in the round hole through to the nest box - keeps them out!
