Alis girls
The garlic put in last autumn has gone brown down half of the stem - the rest is green. Its not flopped over. Do I leave it till it flops? It had the beginings of flowers at top which I pinched off. I fear it will be a failure as per usual. Advice please.
Valkyrie
Have a peek at the base - has it grown or still fairly small? It should have plumped up by now. I've only ever had success once, but this year I'm expecting some from Franchi - should be getting them soon, but they said not to plant until the warm weather has well and truly left us because they need cold conditions to get them going. Also something done in the past but still meh results! I don't think going on holiday at the hottest time of the year helped - watering was done by my neighbour after she saw my daughter wasn't doing it!
