Mrs Frugal
Sky One 8pm Thursday 8th December Those of you who go onto the River Cottage forum or MrsL's Creative Living forum can't have failed to have encountered MrsL or Lowlander as she's known on River Cottage or Sarah even! Well, you'll get to see her in person on Thursday night when she's featured in a programme about housewives (no Dan - not THAT sort of programme ). She'll be the one making soap, sausages and visiting the tip amongst other things. A very likeable person who seems to have more hours in her day than the rest of us judging by the number of things she manages to cram in! Hope you enjoy the programme. I'll be watching. Cate in NZ
Do you think there's any chance that it'll be shown on terrestrial TV Kate? I don't think we've got Sky, we have a few cable channels, but only the freebies that come with the most basic TV/ phone/ Broadband package because we're not really great TV watchers and won't pay for something we don't use. Mind we do occasionally miss some good programmes that way
Guest
Do you know what time please Kate and which channel? Thanks for letting us know, I can't say that I have come across her before but she sounds very interesting
Mrs Frugal
Sky One at 8pm this Thursday Kooringa (8th December) I don't know if it will be repeated on terrestrial I'm afraid, Kate.

Mrs Frugal
I'm a great one for not seeing things too so don't worry Kooringa!!
Lesley
Thanks Kate - we'll be watching. Is it ethical to put a link to another site? I'm sure thare are many people on here who would be interested in Mrs.L's forum?
Sheilaz
Thanks Kate, although I no longer have Sky. But a link to Mrs. L. sould be harmless & a good idea, Lesley. Apart from us all trying to resist the temptation to read more than one forum!.
Lesley
Why should I be the only one to have to do the housework with a black binbag and a shovel? - two or even three forums(fora ) is no problem I don't know how Sarah (Mrs.L) manages to keep her own forum going and visit River Cottage and do all the things she manages to cram into a day either. Mrs Frugal
I posted a link to Sarah's forum on here when it started up in May and she got a few converts as a result so I can't see any harm in posting it again. If anyone wants to accuse me of forum pimping, please go ahead ! Creative Living For The 21st Century

Mrs Frugal
Well, those of you who saw the programme can't have failed to be amazed at some of the fruitcakes on it!! Fortunately Sarah came out looking fine - or maybe that's because I'm a fruitcake too ! Isn't it fun seeing how other people live - yes, I'm a curtain twitcher ! Mel (& Paul)
It was good wasnt it?!?!?! I thought it was clever how they "paired" the women off - so Country Wife agains Essex Wife (and did she only look 20 - no!! too many sunbed sessions me thinks!!) I love seeing how other people look (but slightly worried that Paul seemed keen on Lancashire Wife - the one who loved cleaning and cooked fresh meals each day and put the apple juice in champagne glasses - I just told him I would be happy to be like that if I could give up work
Nicola H
I saw it Kate the lady with the fairies was a little weird and what about the one who only ate chocolate.........But Sarah did come over well I loved the bit at the end when she played the piano at the tip...I was hoping to see the chickens and other animals
