Guest
Is that so? So that would mean that Bolton have created approximately 4 chances this season? Can't remember anyone else scoring for the Wanderers? I think the Derby fullback scored one for us! Phil

Guest
How many chances did he need? I believe we took him on loan for a season just to give him the time he would need... I see Phlegm has gone off - and "Ooops, word censored!"nal have produced an Englishman Phil

He used to be known as Pleb when he wasn't very good, but he hasn't really deserved that nickname this season. We're looking (sounding) a little bit dodgy... Another goal would be just peachy. lisa33
I have to admit that before the game I would have (if I had got my bottom in gear and joined the prediction league) said it would be a draw. At half time I presumed we would spank the Villa. Hleb was on fire and if he had had a little more bottle we could have. The second half, Villa came back. and I started to become a bit concerned (only a little bit though). But it was only after Hleb was crocked I got worried. I have always rated my 'gelfling' (after 'The Dark Crystal') but this season he has been superb, just behind Fabregas. Although I have to say " "Ooops, word censored!"ne, Please give Flamini a new contract!!"

gooner.girl
Had a fantastic time and was lovely meeting Martin - he's a real sweetie and even got me a programme signed by Lehmann and Bendtner - bless him! To be fair Villa possibly just about deserved a point - possibly - but we were the better team for much of the game. Villa fans were quiet as mice until last quarter of the game - the gooners sang loud and proud all the way through! Have some photos that i will post when i get home tomorrow evening! gooner.girl
Oh - i also forgot to mention - they were selling Villa Season tickets half price yesterday! Obviously can't get a full house for any game other then The "Ooops, word censored!"nal! Not surprised with the quality of football on offer.... Martin B
the gooners sang loud and proud all the way through! I think you will find this is factually incorrect. Villa sang loud and proud all the way through and "Ooops, word censored!"nal sang loud and proud for the first quarter of the game.
Martin B
Helen has the pictures of us. Here are a few of my match shots. First, the georgoeus Kelly Daglish. Gallas waiting to come back on after recieving treatment. Villa celebrating At half time when everybody else was either in listening to Wenger or training (Senderos and Bendtner) this man sat silently in the dug out the whole time. Yep, it's Jens Lemon! gooner.girl
Here are some piccies from Villa Park! The Stadium (clearly not as good as "Ooops, word censored!"nals ) Martin and I (whilst he was still hopeful Villa had a chance of winning!!! Haha!) View from our seat... Me 'pretending i was a Villa fan!' Me and DH (when he wasn't fast asleep! )

gooner.girl
Oh behave Martin! He wasn't even sat anywhere near me to see!!!! I stood up - i did NOT cheer or clap! Got very overexcited when "Ooops, word censored!"nal scored and kept digging DH in the ribs in anticipation whenever we were playing well! (he got quite bruised cos we did so good! ) I think the Villa fans around us may have suspected we were not all we seemed!
Martin B
I think it was Mike's luck day, he was not bashed once and the two goals were lucky to say the least.
Gooner Boy
Newcastle 1-1 "Ooops, word censored!"nal - I'll take that... Was really nervewracking listening to the last 20 minutes or so. Still, 4 points clear, and that's what matters at the end of the day! Must get on with some work now...
Martin B
Newcastle 1-1 "Ooops, word censored!"nal - I'll take that... What? 1-1 with Newcastle. You'll take that? They're just roadkill! Nothing less than 3 points should have been acceptable tonight. Man Utd will win the league now.
Gooner Boy
Newcastle 1-1 "Ooops, word censored!"nal - I'll take that... What? 1-1 with Newcastle. You'll take that? They're just roadkill! Nothing less than 3 points should have been acceptable tonight. Man Utd will win the league now. I sure will! We caught them at a bad time, all fired up from their recent rubbish results. They were playing for their lives last night - the players would have been lynched by the Newcastle fans if they'd performed badly, and Big Sam would have been out of a job. As for Man Utd winning the league, well, I'd say that Newcastle aren't roadkill in the same way that, say, Bolton are. And Bolton beat Man Utd. So I'll take our 4 point advantage at the top and look for us to get back to winning ways against 'Boro on Saturday
gooner.girl
Tom! I honestly thought before the game started we wouldn't win and although i am always disapointed when we lose a 1 goal advantage I would probably have settled with a draw beforehand. You're right TJ, they were well up for it... Adebayors goal was pretty good!
