Gooner Boy
The official rule at the emirates stadium "referee must allow play to continue until "Ooops, word censored!"nal actually score" !! Hmmm, wasn't there a similar rule for Birmingham last week? There was one slight difference, in that for Birmingham, the rule read 'play must continue until Birmingham actually score (referee must hand it to them on a plate if they don't look like actually doing so)'... It didn't feel much like a win to me. We're rubbish at the moment. Fancy not being able to beat Villa at home - thats a sure sign we're pants... (am hoping we are saving our fantastic goal scoring football for tomorrow... )

Gooner Boy
can someone tell my why Liverpool didnt play their CL game tonight? Am i being thick or summat....I thought nothing could get in the way of a CL game? Yeah - it's because Inter and AC Milan both had home ties in the second leg of this round. Because they both play at the San Siro, AC played last night and so they've postponed the Inter game by a week so there is less of a clash. I guess that with policing and pitch preparation etc, two games in two days was too much.

And as good a victory as it was, i think the media have gone a little OTT about it - we haven't actually WON anything yet...
