Autodoor, 12V supply and power settings

Looking to put an auto door - which one do people recommend for a mk1 cube?

Like the idea of a new door on the omlet one - and no bar sticking out - but heard about hens getting trapped or failure to open issues.

I have the Omlet auto door on a Mk 1 Cube & touch wood its been working fine, they did delay the delivery as they were looking into the problems with the first ones but I had an email from Omlet to sat that they had sorted the known problems. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

Thanks Emz - much appreciated.  I prefer the Omlet one but hentronix seem much happier to talk to me so wanted to know how others found the omlet one - which I noticed wasnt in the sale.......

I would worry about an automatic door closer. One of my old girls nods off with her head hanging out of the door.  She often has to be nudged awake so I can close the door!
