Omlet Staff james Posted December 10, 2005 Omlet Staff Share Posted December 10, 2005 Hi guys, I have just managed to get the forum software up and running again. Everything should work but the styling has gone a little pear shaped and I will try and fix this later tonight. Please email me if you have any problems ( james@omlet.co.uk ). I am really sorry for the inconvience caused by the movement of the forum. Have fun, James

buffie
A quick hello chaps, glad it's up and running again off to see santa in 10 mins and the santa train tonight with friends children. We have to borrow children for this kind of thing as they won't let pups, kittys or chicks sit on santas knee BBx
Lesley
It is nice to be back but my house is sparkly clean thanks to no forum to read
Mel (& Paul)
Not even the forum being down can persuade me that the cleaning would be a good idea
Lesley
Well, I was happy because I had 20 family members round for coffee after a meal out. 1. Firstly, I didn't have to cook the ****** meal and 2. The house was clean and tidy and.... 3. I didn't have loads to catch up on in the forum it was even more sparkly after they had gone as my neice's top had shed hundreds of sequins We managed to throw three of the little ones in the chicken poo - oops! Nicola H
Hope you didn't let them back in the house after being in the chicken poo.........
Lesley
No - we locked them in the shed
Guest
Lesley It takes a bit of getting used to reading the posts like this, but us hard core forum addicts can battle through anything to feed our cravings! Lesely, I have spent the best part of today safe in the knowledge that the forum is on hold for a bit and my house too has been sorted, organised, cleaned and polished from top to bottom. the only thing left to do is the ironing. We've had family round for a big Sundoay lunch. How did I fit it all in? I even managed to mow the lawn!! A miracle day all round!
Cate in NZ
Hi Gina, I'd recognise you anywhere- even posing as a guest. It's that distinctive red type Have you been gremlined too? It sounds like you had a very productive day all round. Perhaps I'm not the only person who gets distracted from doing the things I should be doing by the addictive nature of the forum . Sheilaz
Am I the only one who thought; oh well, I'll do something useful then, the forum being down... but then just hovered (notice hovered not hoovered) over the computer all day, missing forum & optimistically trying all day long in case it was back. Which meant I achieved even less than if I'd been on the forum but running around productively in between posts. After having thought James had censored us & shut us forever. Lesley
Just you Sheila! I knew it was down so took the opportunity to get out the shovel and black bin bag Gina - Ironing? I don't do ironing! (I don't 'do' a lot of things actually ) Just fold it all neatly and stack it in a pile. Most of it will press itself

Lesley
I do iron Carl's work shirts. i ironed three this morning, one for him to wear today ( ) - wandered off to write some cards so that he could post them for me and eventually found the iron still on half an hour later If I was a man I'd say I needed more practise
Mel (& Paul)
If I were you I would just give it up as a bad job. Let someone else have a go
Lesley
Carl will quite happily iron his shirts but in the time it takes him to do them i can have him running around doing half a dozen jobs which I'm not mobile enough to do now. He's an excellent 'Gopher' so I don't mind doing the shirts
Mel (& Paul)
Well that sounds fair
