Edge Wife Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Hello, I just had to share this because it was so lovely: I was sitting on the deck reading my book yesterday and the chooks were mooching about in the garden. Gradually they all came and joined me on the deck: Phoebe perched on the crossbar of one of the chairs, Flo sat underneath me preening and Val came and sat at the side of me. Val then made that lovely gentle purring noise which I'm sure is their version of singing, or at least seems to be a sign of contentment. We sat like that for about twenty minutes.
