sparkleeeeee Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 oh ladylucan get the one without the run as your run is lovely and big. its so much easier to clean if you can stand up and dont have to crawl theough a tiny door or take the whole thing apart. also the omlet runs are so expensive you could do all kinds of great things with your homemade run with the money. i have just put a platic roof on mine in preparation fot the cube and it cost £30 (but the run was recycled so didnt cost me anything) when i swept the hemcore out today i thought how much easier it is to clean and i have more room to build platforms and perches. i can even plant bushes in there. It's great being able to go in and grab them; refill feeders and drinkers; sweep out etc. And they love their perches and bushes. Also, I don't feel quite so guilty if I can't let them out every day. Yep, definately agree with this. I didn't buy the run with my Cube and I'm pleased I didn't. The cube sits nicely in my home made run and its great - I can walk around it and clean everything etc etc. Mind you, my run is actually a disgrace and I'm sure yours is much much nicerer.
