Omlet Cube chicken coop and walk in run for sale

[Em_chickennewbie]

Hello 😀

I have had my 4 Pekin bantams for a month now and one has laid an egg every day for the past 4 days! I was told they were between 8-12 weeks when I got them so they should be about 12-16 weeks now (this does seem a bit young to start laying so I assume they are a few weeks older than originally said).

My question is now I have one chicken laying eggs, do I need to switch to layer pellets, even though the others aren’t laying yet?

Thanks in advance!

Emma

If you’re sure they’re all the same age then yes I’d switch to layers. And I agree they probably are a bit older than you were told.

Thanks for your reply.

They all look roughly the same size so I would assume they are similar ages.
