My eco solution to rat problems

Hi

i recently purchased four POL chickens. Two are already laying. I was told the other two have 2 weeks or so before they will lay. One of the chickens (not laying yet) has always been a little slower.  She is now completely lethargic.  Didn’t come out of the coop yesterday but I lifted her out today and she just stands in ones place. One eye has always looked completely shut. Now both eyes are closed. She did open them slightly when I was cleaning the coop abs she was in the run very close to me. The other three seem absolutely fine, eating, drinking and lively. The layers are producing eggs. I didn’t one of them sneeze once but nothing since. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I am very new to this and have only had them four days.

I would contact the breeder and see what they say. You shouldn’t accept a sickly chicken, definitely not if she has an eye closed. For now it doesn’t sound really good, so maybe contact a vet too.

She's beyond help I think and should be PTS if she hasn't gone already. Poor condition stock from the breeder and should be their responsibility. Sorry, but there are too many jokers selling bad birds to make a quick profit at the moment.
