lozkate
Ever more reason to rescue. Its amazing. HFW (River Cottage#1) had a one egg,one cougette souffle. I've made it several times its fab. Its not simple but maybe the first eggs deserve special treatment!! Loz
Guest
we've decided to have poached eggs on toast, DH has just gone to get supplies- bread, milk, hasps and locks for the coop and corrugated plastic for the roof of the outside run- strange shopping list
lozkate
we've decided to have poached eggs on toast, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I should be working this morning but can't get away from chickens. I've just come back after letting them into the veg garden and green houses to clear up for me, now I'm off for poached eggs on toast (only mine are still bought eggs). Is it normal to get sacked for being obsessed by chickens or just me? Loz

Snowy
Wow, congratulations on your first eggs! Just be aware that they will improve in taste as the grass, fresh air and sunshine get into their systems. At the moment they are fresh from the cage so may just taste like supermarket eggs. I think someone said it takes a couple of weeks? Enjoy them anyhoo!
