bronze
Yes I have another sexing question. I've always thought Frankie was male from when he got feathers. His wattles still tell me that but I have recently been informed the males dont have the double laced pattern that the irls have. But Frankie does. See here for exapmle. So what are your thoughts. heres my beautiful boy
bronze
See, his tails beginning to droop and he has the longer legs and the wattles and the comb so why the colouring or will that change as he gets manly feathers?
Jools
I don't know anything about his breed / colour but his feathers certainly scream BOY!! And a very pretty one too
feemcg
He certainly looks like a boy - what lovely glossy feathers. He looks like he has some 'lacing' but I think the double-laced pattern is more intricate than that.
bronze
odd thing is he looks more intricate close up he is beuatifyul though and I've always known he was a boy. It was just this lacing thing that confused me. Wish I could keep him hes my first ever chick
Lesley
He looks like a cockerel to me Bron. Ours started like that and then his colouring gradually changed as he matured. The colouring is less intricate as Fee says.
