So glad your son got what he wanted Jules. My daughter got into her school. It was the one and only choice we selected and we are in catchment but there's still that nagging doubt that you'll end up somewhere else. She got in OK but annoyingly the council were supposed to email and you could view online on 3 Mar but their website had "technical problems" and we couldn't view until Wed 5th.

Congratulations to all of you whom got their first choice. I must admit I am not looking forward to when my little-ones get older and I will have to make such decisions. It is just a shame that so many famalies have to go through such stress every year.

The stress of it is terrible, you are making a decision that will have a bearing on your childs whole life. We hardly slept for weeks before we found out and cried buckets when he got what he wanted I have one more child to go who desperately wants to go to the same school as her sister but she has to pass the 11+ and get a place

That reminds me, my next door neighbour is in Yr 6, I wonder what school she'll be going to in September? May have to drop round with a few eggs sometime soon and ask!
