CatsCube
I have decided that I cant pick 6 birds out of the 7 that I like so Im just gonna go ahead and get 7 chooks instead of 6. I wont tell the other half, and if he counts them and notices I will just say he must have counted one twice! So the final selection to be collected next Sunday is: Pekin Bantam (Black) Brahma (Gold) Miniture Orpington (Buff) Silkie (White) Aracana (Lavender) Bluebell Calder Ranger So now I just have to think of names for them, suggestions welcome. The Silkie will prob be called Dot (Dot cotton bud).

It's a bit like the "what?.....this old thing....I've had it ages" tactic. Works every time.
Guest
after a cple of weeks he'll be asking you if you want some more! Mine did, so funny the way the little dears win their hearts Edited October 29, 2007 by Guest
Couperwife
I like the plan about the 7 chooks - he will never notice, we rarely have all 6 chooks on show together, one is normally hiding somewhere What about Dilly Dilly for the Aracana (I cant say lavender in our house without someone calling Dilly Dilly )
Scooby
if he counts them and notices I will just say he must have counted one twice! I found this very funny. Maybe cos it's exactly the sort of thing I'd do to my hubby! Scooby
