Ziggy
Hi everyone... Couldn't help noticing over time in people's signatures that someone has a chicken called Jenny, and someone has one called Suki, which are my two eldest daughters' names... someone also has a cat called Ziggy, which is my name, someone has an Indiana the cockerel I think, which is my third daughter's name... so wanted to ask, has anyone got a chook named Leia, which is my baby's name, so all my girls can have a chicken name-twin out there? I think they'd like that I thought it might be possible, considering the star wars connection, that somebody out there might have a chicken named Leia... Milly
My husband wanted to call our Frisian Princess Leia. But I haven't given in yet. Milly
Ziggy
Can I persuade you to give in? My last daughter's name was chosen by my first daughter (who, yes, was and is very much into star wars... she wanted me to have twins so we could have Luke and Leia), and my first reaction was 'not over my dead body'... then repeating the name over time I really got to love it, and I'm very pleased we named Leia that way... If I can't convice you, Princess Layer, Hen Solo's friend, might have to do.... close enough
Guest
We have three cats, Poppy, Honey & Scribble Jamie Oliver named one of his daughters after two of them (Poppy Honey) Just waiting to see if the next one is caused Scribble!
Ziggy
Jamie Oliver named one of his daughters after two of them (Poppy Honey) Just waiting to see if the next one is caused Scribble! hey, if it is, then claim copyright.... Though to be honest, though I've known kids called Poppy, and Honey is sweet enough, I think if he suggest Scribble his wife and the grandparents might put their foot down
Guest
It was just soo odd that he combined the 2 names. Now Bob Geldof would have called his kid Scribble Or Michael Jackson....

Milly
Can I persuade you to give in? Well, I usually refer to her as Fairy Princess, Princess Leia isn't much different .... but as none of them answer to their names I think we can call them anything we like Milly
Milly
And I can't call her Princess Layer - she is about the same age as the others and hasn't laid a single egg yet. Although maybe the name might encourage her Milly
