Fostermattj
I've just purchased my new Rablu - and by the way it is fantastic - both Pheobe and Joey love it! Anyways, moving swiftly on, an idea for keeping Rabbits from digging out is to clip the same fox proofer (you know, the edging on the run) to the inside of the cage. You'll find rabbits will only dig near the edge of the Rablu, so this idea should be perfect. It's inexpensive, and there should be no problems moving the Rablu around the garden. Omlet guys, what do you think? Matt
The Dogmother
I emailed Johannes today as I am buying a 2nd hand Rablu in 10 days time, and I wondered what had become of the idea of a mesh floor for the run. Hopefully I will hear back from him soon, but that idea of yours sounds great.
Popcorn
My MIL breeds rabbits and she lines her run with big chicken wire to keep the grass intact. The rabbits don't mind and the holes are big enough to let them have a nibble
Mrs Frugal
That's what we used to do too Gina. We had a triangular ark type run which LSH had built which had a chicken wire base attached all the way round. We just lifted it up and moved it around - doddle and they couldn't escape or dig enormous holes!!
The Dogmother
That's what I am thinking of doing. I might go to B&Q and get some welded mesh. But I'll see what Johannes has to say first.

Lera
My rabbits dig in the middle of their permanent run. Their run is rather large, and it has concrete slabs sunk into the ground round the edge, so I let them dig. But I suspect that in a Rablu they could tunnel out in a couple of days.
