AJuff
My black rock Darcy Vader has started laying smelly eggs. I first thought that the two week old egg I opened was off so I cracked open another of hers which was also smelly. Today she laid a fresh egg but that was a bit smelly too. It's not a powerful smell just a peculiar not right sort of smell enough for me to throw it out. Is there something wrong with her that could cause this? feemcg
I wonder if she's eating something unusual in the garden?
Egluntyne
Could you have overdone it with the garlic powder?
AJuff
I do put garlic granules in with their pellets. The eggs didn't smell garlicky though.

AJuff
Oh dear, not too sure what make of that. I'm a little tired this weekend, I'll read it again tomorrow. Thank for the link.
chickencam
One of our original Omlet girls laid eggs that had a fishy smell and flavour. She was never quite well and unfortunately had to go to henny heaven
