Does anyone ring their Chooks No not on their mobiles Would this mean they could be returned if lost

Leg rings are generally used by breeders to differentiate between similar looking groups of chooks, or to mark a particular bird that has been reserved for someone. Only the pigeon rings carry contact details.

 

I'd suggest that you clip their wings. Once chooks know where home/food is, they rarely stray.

Wings are clipped. I'd hate to loose them now. We've only had them for about 6 weeks but it's amazing how quickly you get attached to them.
