NewChickenMum
Hi guys. One of my chickens has developed a limp. On closer inspection she has a lump between her toes more to the top of her foot. Any thoughts or suggestions. She didn’t seem bothered when I touched it. thanks in advance
mullethunter
That does look odd but I can’t really say how. If there’s a chance she’s got some sort of infection you should take her to a vet.
Beantree
It could be 'bumble foot', which is an infection in the pad of the foot caused by an injury from a thorn or sharp stone. Have a look at the pad to see if it has been weeping, which will appear as a dark scab. Then if it is, as Mullethunter says, it is a trip to the vet.
