Cat tails
I think there isn’t a guarantee that it actually will lay green eggs.

Beantree
A cream legbar should lay sky blue eggs, but some will be almost white and some will be green (we've had some). A brown hen will probably lay light brown eggs, so what colour eggs the resulting cross will lay is anyones guess?
Cat tails
On 3/1/2023 at 9:35 AM, Wh hens said: oh why not? Apparently the green colour is a dominant trait, but as long as the cream legbar from the cross isn’t a homozygote, but a heterozygote the offspring can just as well inherit the brown egg colour.
