My son is growing up, his wooden play area will be going soon, and an aviary would fill that spot perfectly, but I’m worried about the noise. We live in an estate of new builds, where it can be very quiet at times. I kept chickens years ago, and they really were too noisy for where we live. Cat tails Posted November 15, 2023 Share Posted November 15, 2023 Most aviary birds are much noisier than chickens. A flock of the smaller types like canaries, budgies or the likes make a constant sound. Personally I’d rather have neighbours with chickens than ones with aviary birds.
