Tis indeed 5 spice. I use ot on chicken or pork. Great just rubbed over a chicken breast then grilled or oven baked. Or added to a BBQ sauce is nice.

I sprinkle a bit of 5 spice into rice to have with a stir fry and sometimes some soy sauce, it makes it taste more chinesey

I have sat on my hands and looked at the seasoned pioneers web site.

On a strict consumer diet at the mo.

Went in to waitrose on the way home and bought so ras el haout (is that spelt right??)made by Barts spices.

Hope that this is ok too. I made the lamb tagine thingy last weekend and it was lovley, however I did not have all the right spices in.

Planning to make it again next weekend as we are having some friends for dinner and will use the ras in that.

I was fed up with looking for the spice I needed in a basket so I bought a spice rack from Ebay - it fits on the inside of the cupboard door quite nicely I think it cost about £6..... or £8.......
