Recommended Posts

Firstly. i would like to thank everyone for their support to a 'new comer'! We can pick our five ex-bats on 11th march (is there anyone else picking there's up on the date?) I think i have most things now for the girls but i have heard of these other things- what do they do and where can i get them from.

-Garlic and what dose is given.

-Bakashi bran.

-Cider vinegar.

-Diatomaceous earth.

-Stalosan.

Lastly, I have heard of a snugglesafe to put in the cube and i was wondering if anyone had tried it and how well it works.

Thanks again (cube orange)

Welcome to the forum.

We bought some stalosan about a week ago and I used it for the 1st time last weekend. Its very good to keep the run free from disease, its harmless to humans and animals.

When i cleaned the run out completely, I sprinkled stalosan all over the run floor and then placed my hemcore (horsey type bedding) over the top. You can sprinkle over the top of the bedding occasionally also when it gets wet. :)

I have a snugglesafe that I used with my Puppy when he came in November. You just heat it up in the microwave and there was still warmth left in it in the morning. For chucks I would take the fleecy cover off and just put the disc under the roosting bars. they cant really damage it - it feels really solid. Was going ot use it for my girls last night but I forgot
