I am so lucky, I have some great friends and they really are my bedrock - especially as I don't have a partner, I always know there's someone I can go to when I need to have a rant/get advice/celebrate something, and for practical help as well with things like cat-feeding, decorating and so on. I must add though that I really regard you lot as friends. It's a strange relationship in as I may never meet some of you in person - but I'm almost as likely to post on here as I am to talk to my 'real' friends now! should I be worried? If you should worry so should I! I've lots of aquaintances but not many friends, not very good at the small talk and like my own company too much. (Also I think I'm a bit eccentric for some!) so it's easy to hide behind mr user name and post on here. And everyone's so nice in return! We tell people things that we might not be able to say to "real live" friends, for fear of being quoted etc. We'll be committing murders for forum friends next, in return for them doing one for us!!
