I like to get out the garden furniture, give it a good clean and wax and depost it underneath a cover, so as soon as the sun gets a little warmer I am out there!

 

I also like to go though everyones clothes and take things that have been outgrown to the charity shop (started on this last week), and on Sunday had a go at the dreaded garage. (where does the stuff come from?!)

 

But had an enjoyable time sorting out my new chicken bits and pieces into a more coherent layout.

 

I love Spring. Roll on those long hours of daylight...

OH reorganised the garage and had a good clear out too. Boat is going back to the sailing club and hen food etc is going down in the garden nearer the hens. He's made space to build me a coldframe so I'm off to pot the broad beans and sow some more seeds in the propagator. I'm so excited!!!!!!

 

Oh . . . and I employed a cleaner. My house Fairy comes every Friday and when I walk in from work it's magical!

In the Spring we tidy the garden, admire the bulbs that have flowered. Plant all the seeds in trays & pots in the greenhouse, plan on more hen houses & chooks, decorate the house with spring flowers, make easter eggs & Simnel cake. Let the chooks freerange a lot lot more, sit in the garden more, buy garden things like furniture, bird tables & boxes, nice pots & ornaments. Go for days out more, park up & go walking along sea fronts or in country parks etc.

We are planning a big make over of our patio....new slabs,a larger area (in fact its going to be massive!) & maybe a BBQ too.

 

That man of mine is so handy around the place,& I want to keep him busy now the hen pen is finished

My tomatoes are up in little pots on the windowsill, and when it was frosty, I dug the veggie patch over, which the choox loved; all those worms to pull!! We need to make a new gate for ti,or there'll be nothing for us, they'll have the lot!

And I've sorted the seeds out ready, .......still too cold here yet......

I Should be painting the bathroom today, but am making an Easter Hat for Con, , for school on Thursday. Oh well, the bathroom'll still be there next week........
