peanut12
My Pepperpot Kim has just finished her moult. She hasn't laid any eggs during her moutl but this morning I found a slightly elongated, smallish egg in the nest box. We have two new pullets so I'm not sure if it's one of them or Kim laying again. Does their egg size shrink when they haven't laid for a while? or Do you reckon one of the newbies has done the business?
Egluntyne
I'm guessing it belongs to one of the new girls. My girls eggs seemed back to normal size wise after their moult.
Daisy & Hattie
My two hens have just had a little moult. Now their eggs are small again, about the same size when they first started laying.

chocchick
Megan started with tiny eggs and they eventually got bigger. Post-moult we're only getting occasional small eggs. Could be some chickens are just more prone to it?
Snowy
I found a post moult egg this morning - I know whose it was as she is the only white egg layer. It was very long and thin, but a bit bigger than her previous eggs. I am wondering if it's a doubleyolker though Another laid a few softies after a moult. Sorry no help, it could be either really
Cinnamon
My Pansy carried on laying through her mega moult recently. Her eggs were paler, the shell roughrer & a bit more brittle than usual. Lily laid again about 3 weeks after the main father loss, & likewise, her eggs were a different texture, but soon got back to normal.
