Rolo Rabbit
Oh. That was very short!! you could always go to listen again. I think the main theme was how we do or don't attempt to keep chickens happy. It was a programme called Shared Earth which 'celebrates the natural world'. Rolo Rabbit
I'm afraid it's not really him. We keep trying to take his picture but we always get ones with very red eyes. It does look quite like him though and he is equally handsome.
chocchick
It was really good. It had Jane Haworth from the BHWT and the presenter found out about rescue chickens. They also "listened" to cod with recording equipment and they were training a big fish so that it would be less stressed if ill. They made the point that animals are treated very differently depending on whether "food" "entertainment" or other classifications. Zoo fish have everything and yet battery chickens are sentient and have most instincts of jungle fowl but are caged up.
