Depending on what type of hens you have you may still get some eggs during the winter months or they may stop altogether. The hybrids tend to continue laying, but not everyday, whereas the pure breeds may have a winter break altogether As for your doggies, as with any pet it may take them a while to get to kinow each other, and until then you may need to supervise them.
