pbfhpunk
Am so excited got back from Honeymoon yesterdaya nd our landlord has come round and said it's ok for us to get a cube and chickens (we sent them a letter an omlet brochure before we left). So I can order whenever! I've heard mention of reconditioned items from Omlet does anyone know what that actually means, do you get all the same gurantees and service? Thanks Helen
superjules
Oh wow, that's fab. Do get it in writing though, eh?! I initially ordered a recon eglu - they are often ex-demo/exhibition/show and aren't any different to the new ones. Other than that they are from people who have taken them up on the 30 day money back thingie. (strange, but I guess some people do?!) You will get new roosting bars though and you won't be able to tell the difference between that and a brand new one. They don't always have a choice of colours for recons though, but for a £60 or so discount, who cares what colour it is?!

dinkybluebug
We bought a recon eglu.... it had a few minor scuff marks on the outside, but that was it. we got everything else with it, including all the guarentees. If I remember rightly, it was only about 30-40 quid cheaper - so you don't save too much, but it is definately worth considering, if you are on the tight budget. TAJ
We got a recon - although not our first choice of colour when we first rang we left it to see what came up and had a choice of 4 colours in 3 days - for an eglu £40 off and comes with everything as if brand new.
