Yeehar!! Weight loss!!

Well done Shona! :D

 

I've been eating better and excersizing more. I was referred to the Gym by my GP - thought I'd hate it, but have actually enjoyed it :shock:

 

I have only lost 12lbs in 6 months - but at least it is going in the right direction and the personal trainer at the gym is happy with that. I have changed shape due to the excersize and gone down a clothes size. I'm happy to do it slowly.

I stood on the scales this morning for the first time for ages and got a REALLY NASTY SHOCK :shock::evil: .

 

I'm so fed up :( . I've not been running for a few months and it's obviously the running that was keeping my weight stable (if still a bit overweight :roll: ).

 

I need to get back out there and also get on my bike to get fit for our cycling holiday in Italy :? .

How do your clothes feel? That is usually a better indicator :D

I've been limited to 3 pairs of (day-to-day) jeans that are comfy (mostly 'cos they're stretchy or just big :oops: ) for ages. They don't feel any different - and a friend said yesterday I don't look any bigger so I'm just going on the weight :? . They are very old scales so maybe they're wrong :pray: ! I do definitely have more round the middle than I used to though so will feel better if I can shift a bit.

 

Just waiting for OH to come back from his run (training for a marathon in 3 weeks time :roll: ) and then I'm going out for a little 2 1/2 mile run :) .

 

I'm getting colleagues organised to do the Race for Life again this year, so would like to run it - that'll be a bit of an incentive!
