TAJ Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Can anyone recommend an egg holder for the kitchen? I do not have enough eggs for an egg-skelter. I had a lovely chicken shapped ceramic container, which held 6 eggs - but hubby dropped something on it so its all broken. It looks pretty sitting on my windowsill, I can definitely see the advantage of having an egg skelter, I do have to rummage through my eggs to use up any older ones. (I use a soft pencil and date them everyday) My mum has a similar one, I think she got it from a market. Have a look in your local charity shop maybe too. A lovely pastel blue on just like a ceramic egg box but without the lid! holds 12 eggs, we don't get that many but it doesn't matter, still looks nice.
