Cinnamon
I was interested to read that you were disappointed with the Tower of London. It has always been on my list of places to see before I shuffle off this mortal coil. I might cross it off. Good to hear that you had an enjoyable family day out. It was on mine too, & if I hadn't been I would still want to go, so I am glad I went, if that makes sense It just was not what I expected. I do like History & am reading all of Phillipa Gregorys Tudor novels in order at the moment, but most of it was just room afer room of replica weapons, which I am afraid really don't do it for me It was also very expensive & the queues was terrible! You don't even want to think about using the loos I guess that with most of these things it is what you make it though....it just wasn't great for me
Rhapsody
I loved going to london when I was a kid,...my favourite was the london dungeons. That has been utterly completely and devastatingly ruined. Last time I went I wanted to ask for my money back. Tussauds group should go to the Tower for the hatchet job they have done. Bah.

I really enjoyed it when I was young....even though there was all the blood and gore etc you really felt it captured what it was like to live back then. Guest
I'd like to take an open top bus there too. Something else that's a bit touristy, but great fun I imagine. It's good to get to know the history of what's on your own door step. Try this one instead http://www.londonducktours.co.uk/thetour/index.htm Stefan will LOVE IT! We are going to take James this summer.
