Hi

We hatched three lovely pilgrim goslings just about three weeks ago.

As a breed they are reputed to be calm, quiet and friendly.

They are also sex linked, meaning you can tell the males from the females by the colour, pretty much as soon as they hatch, which is very helpfull if you have a preference for keeping either a gander or a goose.

Roman's are also supposed to be quiet and gentle and are a small breed and it's said they are usually safe around children.

I think there are some roman eggs on offer on e.bay at the moment.

I have a one year old house duck and she is lovely, but I have to say that already I have found the Goslings to be more loving than she ever was, in particular our larger Gander loves to snuggle.

As soon as he is picked up and held close he kind of goose hugs with his neck and whistles

He is soooooo lovely

I think there may be some pics on here of them somewhere

Hope this helps :)
