Last night we put the batty girls in the cube with the other 2 for the first time.

 

Today we took their Eglu away for the new girls. The Batty girls did us proud as they have already found their way in and put theirselves to bed. Not sure June is very pleased though - she usually sleeps in the nesting box. Bunny is broody and catatonic so I doubt she's even noticed!

aaah we are on crossed threads! I got the Battery hens at the beginning of March, they were in pretty good condition and have thrived since they've been with us, even thoug one got attacked when nextdoors Jack Russell got into our new run extention!

 

Yesterday I got 3 more hybrids so the Batty girls have had to move out of their Eglu and into the Cube - happily!
