xScrunchee
I have been reading a little about Reiki recently and am finding it all very interesting but wondered if anyone on here is actually learning or has learnt it and if so-where and how? I have been considering a distance learning course but am concerned about paying for it without really understanding if it can be done that way. Cheers in advance for any advice Have a great day
Karen & co.
Hello I've done my first and second degree in reiki and loved every minute of it I did the first during a 3 day residential course at Burton Manor on the Wirrel, and the second nearer to home with a different lady a year or so later. I don't understand how it can be done as a distance learning either It's nice to have hands on experience to know what it is supposed to feel like, and the support from your teacher, as one lady on the first course went throught the motions, but didn't like it and didn't want to actually be attuned so she went home, but she wouldn't have recognised this without the teachers help. I could waffle on for ages but pm me if you'd like any more information Karen x

Popcorn
Can't help with your request Jay, but I CAN say I used to have (pre-children=more money) reiki once a month, and loved it. It balanced me out, relaxed me and I REALLY miss it! If you need a guinea pig, I'm your girl Good luck with it all.
xScrunchee
Can't help with your request Jay, but I CAN say I used to have (pre-children=more money) reiki once a month, and loved it. It balanced me out, relaxed me and I REALLY miss it! If you need a guinea pig, I'm your girl Good luck with it all. My sister is planning on breeding her guineas quite soon and we are supposed to be getting a couple of them providing that they are girls I can't help but to wonder why on earth I keep adding to my animal collection As if I don't clean up enough poo on a daily basis now-never mind getting even more pets!! Thank you anyway though Would you not consider learning Reiki yourself rather than just having it? I find it all fascinating-just a little expensive and it's not always easy for me to leave the kids while I go somewhere which is why I was hoping that I could have done a 'learn from home' type thing. Popcorn
I hope the guinea pigs appreciate the practice reiki..... I'd love to do some sort of alternative therapy course. Maybe later when I have more time to immerse myself fully!
Reikiranf
I did my Reiki first degree in London and my second degree in Essex with a Reiki Master called Taggart King, he's a really nice guy, check out his website for further information www.reiki-evolution.co.uk. Hope this helps, if you do decide to take it up you certainly won't regret it
