chocchick
Just thought I'd share, I went out to find Megan covered in bright yellow egg yolk all over her leg, foot and tummy feathers. It was very funny and a Megan thing to do She was trying to peck it off so had yolk on her beak, but was not too happy about being lifted up and washed She's still slightly yellow as it's really hard to get off and she kept curling up her toes and wriggling
Christian
My light sussex Winifred ate a broken egg once. She had it dripping from her beak but looked at me as if to say "it wasn't me"!! Luckily she didn't need a bath that time!
chocchick
I think she heard me and came out of the eglu for potential food, breaking the (thin-shelled?) egg she'd just laid and covering herself in it.
Phosphorus
You made me laugh with the RIR who likes to peck rubber gloves - I have a Speckledy that likes to do just that when I poo pick - really glad I have the gloves on
chocchick
I don't leave my hands still now She pecks at the glove even if you leave it on the floor.
