The Dogmother
Guys, can you help? A friend locally is moving down to Kent and renting a property to start with - they are having trouble finding somewhere to keep their chooks as the landlord isn't keen on having them there... can anyone help? I have encouraged Lyn to register on the forum and will send her a link to this thread. Even if you don't know of any land that 'needs chickens' then it'd be nice for her to have some chicken friends in Kent. gooner.girl
My Grandmas lived in Faversham for 40 plus years and knows the place like the back of her hand. If you still need help drop me a pm and i can ask her.
Richard T
We're near Lenham, which is only a few miles from Faversham, so let us know if there's anything we can help with.
Skye-Larks
Thank you for your offers of support, we had hoped that the farm where we are renting our house would have a little space for our girls but sadly not, will PM to you. This is the first time on a forum for me and it took me a while to get onboard. Our girls are housed in what looks like a beautiful mini beach hut but will have to think about biting the bullet and getting an eglu! Skye-Larks
Dear Omleteers, we have PM'd you all but I checked my sent box and it had nothing in it! I wonder if I sent them correctly. Hopefully you will let me know if they havn't arrived!
Mrs Frugal
Don't worry as messages stay in your outbox until the person you've sent them to picks them up. If they've not logged in since you sent the PM, it will remain in your outbox. Once they've received it, you'll notice that it moves into your sent box . The Dogmother
Welcome to the forum L! Great to see you here, don't worry about the PMs, I see that Kate has explained that to you. Also don't worry about asking questions - we all do it and there's no such thing as a daft question here If you're up this way again, then do feel free to email me and pop round (again) to see the eglu properly and have a play before you decide to get one of your very own. What's the date for your move (I forgot to ask), your profile reads like you might already be down there.
