Flitrap question

Recommended Posts

I couldn't find the fill line either, and it sounds like I have put too much in. All the powder has sunk to the botton so I mailed him to ask if this was right and apparently it is so just incase anyone else is wondering I thought i'd mention it. Has anyone got any flies in theirs yet? I know it's not very hot at the moment but there isn't a single fly in mine & it's been up a week. Surely at least one should have found it's way in by now???

I bought a couple of fli-traps after reading here about how good they are, and I found (?)Andy helpful and friendly.

They've caught all sorts of flies, very satisfying, but I must say it does whiff a bit. I hung one up by my compost heap, which is right next to my next door neighbour's decking (the compost heap was there first!), but when the wind's a-blowin in the wrong direction I now worry a bit about that pong instead

Hi Dave36,

They are from www.flitrap.com the website explains everything, but they are basically a plastic container that you half fill with warm water, stir in a sachet of smelly powder, put the lid on & hang them up. Everyone has been using them near their chickens to keep flies at bay & seem to be doing the trick. It is a non chemical product too so another good thing :)
