We are homing 4 ex-batts so me andmy other half agreed we would name 2 each.

 

Well here's what made the final cut.....

* Edwina

* Thelma

* Martha

 

Hope they like them....we will decide which name suits which when they arrive.

Thanks all, i really love really original names for pets and think they will really suit chickens. Florence was a close 5th on my list and i nearly considered getting and extra chicken to use the name but eventually decided that was a little extreme!! Hehe!

Can't wait to put a face to a name so to speak - will post pics of them when they arrive and you can see if they suit them!

I called one of ours "Edwina" after Edwina Curry and the salmonella scare - she is a great chook and VERY VERY bossy!
