purple hen
Our eglu arrived this morning nice and early i was out ,by the time i got back my son already had it assembled on the lawn. So i had enough spare time to read all the blurb, and amazingly found someone in the breed directory near to us. So we went this afternoon and now we have 3 gorgeous chucks snuggled in their new purple palace. Val
McChook
Congratulations Purple Hen! Having chickens is wonderful! Trouble is, since I got them I've done nothing but watch them - be prepared to fall behind on all your chores now!

Abbey Road Girl
We want photos! We want photos! We want photos! Well, you get the idea, right? That said, everyone has been patient with me. Welcome to the haven for chicken crazies.
purple hen
I'm sure you are right McChook, three of us have been sitting shivering in the garden watching them stuff their faces this evening, don't think i'm going to get much done this weekend. The girls are all bovan gold lines, just look like brown chickens to me, but they are all different shades of brown so we can tell them apart. Funnily enough i just said to my OH whilst shivering outside that we must get a digital camera, so pics might be possible sometime soon. Gamebird
Congratulations on your new arrivals. You really have to get a digital camara and soon. It's amazing how quickly they grow up and it's good to have photographs of various stages of their development.
