Just full crops?

Recommended Posts

Thanks Kate/Stevie

Will try not to worry too much tonight and hope that they have just been little piggies today :roll:

Thanks again for the help and advice.

Ps Thanks for sorting the photo out Kate - for the second time, I still haven't got the hang of it yet!

Also to put your mind at rest, I think they should be ok, mine are like that at the end of most days and by morning it's gone. Suppose what the greedy little monkeys eat has to go somewhere! When I first saw it I thought "oh my god ". It bulges to one side doesn't it. Just check them in the morning. :)

It does bulge to one side. If they've got full crops and I've not noticed it before does that mean that I've not fed them enough? I am still hanging on to the fact that they are just piggies!

Just been out and had a 'word' with them about frightening their mum and to be good girls and digest it all before the morning! Haven't mentioned about laying eggs, the crop thing will do!

I did manage to get some sleep last night - albeit fitful!

When I went to them this morning they were fine - Phew! :D I picked them both up and they seemed to have smallish lumps but nothing like last nights! Hubbie-to-be had let them out at around 5.30am so I assume that the lumps were from there crops filling up. I didn't go to them until about 8.30pm.

Have given them spaghetti for the first time today - hilarious, the hentertainment was excellent, still smiling now when I think about them running round with it hanging out of there beaks! :D:D

Thanks to you all for your support and advice - what a lucky lass I am to have you all there...:D
