TheCoop
Our 3 don't mind a bit of rain (unless it's a full-on downpour) - this morning it was grey and drizzly, but this afternoon they were stretched out and sunbathing. A great sight!!
Cooks
mine dont seem to mind the rain either, and it's been raining here today and overnight, plus the wind is so strong!
joegg
Was just going to post on this myself. Ive left the shed door open for them so they can get some shelter and repositioned the eglu and run out of the wind, but they persist in being out there in the elements. Daughters have brought them into the out house and dried and cuddled them which they quite liked. Im just concerned about them going to bed dripping wet. StephanieSB
I was just about to ask about what to do with the chickens on a rainy day? or rather, what do they do with themselves? Are we supposed to just leave them to their own instincts then? Will they not go into the eglu/cube when the rain starts? Would getting a set of those new cube wind screens keep them protected on a downpour day like we have here in Berkshire?
