It works because of this part:

5X50 = 250

Add 1756 gives us 2006 (this year).

You then subtract your birth year and of course, you are left with your age.

The first bit is just a nonsense whereby doing a few sums your original number is multiplied by 100.

Sorry but my numbers do not work when I take 7 times for the first choice (more then 1 less then 10) I am turning out to be 90 years of age
